Thank you for letting us stay at your wonderful home in Maui. Our first try at vacationing alone was a huge success. It was great to have such a special place to come back to each evening. Your home was perfect with the beautiful sunset right off your balcony, the pool, ocean, and all the accommodations. Your location was perfect since we had no idea how we were going to find places. The wedding was at another resort just 15 minutes away further up 30 West and we just took 30 East to do all our shopping. We have been to Florida and South Carolina for several beach vacations but this is one has by far been the best. If any other guests do nothing else, take the bike ride down the volcano. What a blessing to share your home on this beautiful sacred island. This is our seventh trip to Papakea and this year was the most incredible ocean view. The mountains were the perfect backdrop for many breakfasts and dinners shared with our son and his new wife (even though it rained). There is still no place on earth like Maui.

"This is about our 80th trip to Hawaii and roughly our 60th trip to Papakea. We truly love it here. Your unit is wonderful. Tastefully furnished and decorated, and very nice in every way.

Papakea is one of the few resorts left in Hawaii that has beautiful natural grounds, a perfect ocean view, low rise buildings, and the ability to walk the beach for about one and a half miles to the south.

I daily enjoy walking to the park south of here and then getting into the ocean to swim further south to the Black Rock by the Sheraton Hotel.
